Main stream interest? Not likely, but here's hoping gaming gets more than the awful press we usually get.

The average press coverage from a main media outlet is hardly positive. So when I caught this link to "in-game" I was mildly surprised that MSNBC actually had someone covering gaming. Now it may not exactly be the most informative, but it doesn't really have to. These videos aren't meant for the typical gamer. They seem to be targeted both at average gaming consumers and business professionals who might actually invest in some of these companies. Their comparisons are a bit too by the numbers. Most likely because most journalism from MSNBC seems to be done with business journalists.

This does make some sense since the gaming industry surpassed the movie industry years ago in gross profits and sales.

(I grabbed this embed from the MSNBC site so if its wonky don't blame me. Blame their HTML use.)
